Japan Karate-Do Genbu-Kai of Florida is directed by Sensei Keith Moore who is under the direct guidance of Shihan Fumio Demura 9th Dan Shito-Ryu Karate. Sensei Moore started his training in 1980, and has remained true to the roots, beliefs and traditions of Traditional Japanese Karate.  Sensei Moore and his family moved from Syracuse, New York to South Florida after running two successful Karate schools there for fifteen years. In April 2009, Sensei Moore started teaching for the Adult Education Programs with in the Palm Beach County School District. Programs were taught at Royal Palm Beach High School, Seminole Ridge High School, Wellington High School and Roosevelt Middle School. In December 2009, November 5th, 2009, Sensei Moore started a satellite location at Jarvis Town Hall in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida. Sensei Moore and his family opened their South Florida location in Royal Palm Beach, Florida in December 2009.  Currently, Sensei Moore and his family are open and offering Traditional Japanese Karate, Okinawan Kobudo (weapons), and Toyama-Ryu Batto-Do (Japanese sword) Monday through Saturday.
